A modern international school on Portugal's Atlantic coast. Teacher-guided, mastery-based academics in the morning. The rest of the day for everything else: projects, physical development, and the freedom to be a kid.
School in development
With the right tools in their hands, teachers can now do something traditional classrooms never could: teach every child at their own pace, at scale.
This dramatically changes what a school day can look like. Two focused hours of personalised academics each morning covers what most schools cover in six.
The rest of the day opens up for the things that make education meaningful: time spent outside, project-based learning, physical development, and real-world skills that don't fit neatly on a standardised test.

Every student works through core subjects at their own pace. They learn how to think critically, question deeply, and solve problems without being told how.
Project-based learning and workshops in the disciplines most schools crowd out: the arts, financial literacy, public speaking, entrepreneurship, and coding. Things students will actually use.
Portugal's Atlantic coast is part of the curriculum. Students spend afternoons outside: surfing, hiking, team sports, open water. An active lifestyle is why we all chose this coast.
Students learn where they are and take responsibility for it. Real community projects, real contribution, and genuine relationships with the people and place around them.
Before committing to this, we ran two rounds of surveys with families on the coast, the second after showing them exactly how the school would work and what it would cost. The interest was real, and it held up under detail.
Telos Academy is in its formation phase: site secured, regulatory pathway being mapped, and waitlist open. Waitlisted families will be prioritised when enrolment opens in 2027, for the inaugural academic year starting September 2029.
