We're developing a modern international school rooted in a clear idea of what education should actually do. Here's the full picture.
A modern international school in development near Ericeira, Portugal, designed around mastery learning and real-world competence.
We're planning for around 500 students aged 3–18, although the final number will be finalized through demand research with families in the area. The school has prioritised Cambridge International as its curriculum pathway, now being formalised through Portuguese authorisation and Cambridge registration. Further accreditation targets will be confirmed ahead of enrolment opening.
The name comes from the ancient Greek word for purpose and fulfilment: the idea that education should be directed toward something meaningful. That idea shapes everything about how the school is designed.
Where the name comes from, what we believe about education, and the values that drive every decision we make, from curriculum to hiring to how the day is structured.
